While on our trip I got this book. It is a historical fiction novel about Medieval Ireland. It was interesting and informative. I liked learning about the Celts and then also about the Catholic/Protestand church evolving there. The only downside was that because it spanned over 1000 years, you had a lot of new characters.
I'm starting the sequal now: The Rebels of Ireland.
